Sara’s achievements go far beyond athletics. Earlier this year, she traveled to Johannesburg, South Africa, with her mother to visit McBain Charles Primary School. During her visit, she donated shoes and school supplies to young students and spent time reading, dancing, and sharing joy with them. Lauryn described the visit in a heartfelt post, saying, “Before she left she read to and danced with the students who also sang songs for her. It looked like an all around special time!” Sara also connected with older students who were learning sewing and garment-making, the same skills used to create their uniforms.

Inspired by her experience, Sara is now planning to launch her own non-profit organization to continue spreading positivity and support to children around the world. Lauryn thanked the school and the Chayil Foundation for welcoming them so warmly.
