Lil Yachty, JT & More Mourn The Loss Of Quality Control Artist Lil Marlo

This is so horrible. 

Multiple news sources report Quality Control Music artist, Lil Marlo, 30, legal name, Rudolph Johnson, was fatally shot in Atalanta. He was identified by the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office.

The incident happened Saturday (July 11) night in Atlanta on the I-285 near the Benjamin E. Mays Drive overpass approximately at 11:30 p.m. Billboard reports the ATL Police Department confirmed the tragic news. Officers were responding to a single-vehicle accident. When they got to the scene, they reportedly found Lil Marlo deceased and that he’d been shot. 

The homicide team responded and immediately began an investigation. They believe Lil Marlo was the victim of a targeted attack. 

Lil Marlo’s label-mates, Lil Yachty and JT of the City Girls wrote heartfelt messages online. In the post, Lil Yachty shared a picture and in the caption said, “we just did a song at 4 this morning smh rip brother. JT Tweeted, “Rest In Peace Marlo……damn,” followed by a series of Tweets about people being jealous and life being short.

Yella Beezy also shared words online. He said,

“Damn @lilmarlo_1 this just f****d my head up ! That conversation the other day wasn’t long enough i wouldn’t Eva expect this. Rest Easy Brotha !!!!! Damn Rudy!

Young Bans said, 

“anytime we spoke you never told me nun wrong real 1 fasho rest easy rockstar.”
