Nearly 27 years later, police have arrested a man connected to the 1996 drive-by shooting that killed Tupac Shakur.
According to reports, Duane “Keffe D” Davis was arrested early Friday (Sept. 29) morning. However, two officials with first-hand knowledge of the arrest stated that the the exact charge or charges were not immediately clear.
This news comes two months after law enforcement raided his wife’s Henderson home. Documents state that they were looking for items “concerning the murder of Tupac Shakur.” Davis had always admitted during interviews and in his 2019 memoir, “Compton Street Legend,” that he was in the Cadillac where the gunfire erupted during the Sept. 7, 1996
Shakur was only 25-years-old.
