Metro Boomin isn’t only an accomplished producer, but quite the talented internet troll. Amid the ongoing beef with Drake and Kendrick Lamar, the 30-year-old has been quite vocal on social media. In a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Metro encouraged fans to engage in a special challenge he dubbed, the “BBLDrizzyBeatGiveaway.”

The rules were fairly simple, fans were asked to upload their version of the track and use the hashtag. Whoever offers their best remix, will have a chance at getting a free beat from the Grammy-nominated producer.

The comment section was filled with aspiring rappers eager to showcase their skills. As of now, no winners have been declared. It appears that among the fans who were there just for fun, uploading humorous memes and clips, there is a common opinion among the producer’s followers that they have already determined the loser of this battle.

What Set Metro boomin off?

While it’s unclear what exactly set Metro off, the producer does not seem to be letting up anytime soon. That said, he did respond to a bar from Drake’s “Family Matters” track where he alleged that the music maker’s girlfriend had cheated on him with a friend of his. While he’s not been spotted with any women recently, according to him the woman has been a close friend in his life.

“Never thought I would see a day when a producer would drop a diss beat [laughing emoji]. This is iconic,” one person wrote. Another fan joked that the producer took Drake’s insults on “Push Ups” way too seriously. “Metro took drake’s “make some drums” personal and made a hit beat. Never seen a n*gga make a diss beat in my life.”

Someone else posted “‘BBL DRIZZY, BBL DRIZZY’ LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL. ‘HE GOT THE BEST BBL DRIZZY IN HISTORY.’” One user commented that while the situation is funny, it only becomes funnier because Metro’s beat is so good. “this shit is hilarious until it becomes absolute fire 38 seconds in wtf [laughing emoji].”
