The legal case involving Pooh Shiesty and Big30, centered on allegations of kidnapping and robbery targeting Gucci Mane, has continued to spill beyond the courtroom and into hip-hop’s public discourse. What might have remained a procedural criminal matter has instead become a focal point for competing loyalties, with artists and fans openly aligning themselves on different sides. As new commentary surfaces, the conversation has taken on a tone that blends legal uncertainty with long-standing industry relationships.

Among the latest to weigh in is Moneybagg Yo, who signaled support for the two artists through social media posts that resurfaced earlier interactions. He shared photos and video clips from a prior meeting with Pooh Shiesty and Big30, using Instagram to reinforce his position. In one post circulated by No Jumper on Instagram, he wrote “Free Ball Free Shiest [100 emoji]” in an IG Story post from today (Friday, April 10) that featured their conversation. The gesture added to a growing list of public statements circulating online as the case develops.

Asian Doll, meanwhile, has taken a more direct stance in opposition to Gucci Mane, continuing criticism she has voiced over time regarding his label and business dealings. Her posts on Twitter were sharply worded, including, “FREE POOH SHIESTY & BIG 30!! #SnitchK,” and additional commentary that further escalated the exchange. In another message, she wrote, “Rat a** n***a a pure b***h,” before sharing a retweet that referenced broader debates about Gucci Mane’s personal history and mental health. The post she amplified read, “But he signs troubled hood kids so he can steal their money lol. Stop switching the goalposts,” reflecting ongoing disagreements about how his career and legacy are viewed.

Industry Lines Drawn as Big30, Pooh Shiesty, and Gucci Mane Tensions Surface

Industry ties help explain some of the alignment that is now emerging. Big30’s connection to Moneybagg Yo’s Bread Gang imprint, along with releases through NLess Entertainment, has shaped how support is publicly expressed, even as past collaborations with Gucci Mane remain part of the backdrop. Asian Doll’s position, by contrast, reflects a longer pattern of tension with Gucci Mane that predates this case.

As Pooh Shiesty’s arrest on April 1 and Big30’s subsequent detention continue to unfold through early legal proceedings, attention remains fixed on both the facts of the case and the reactions surrounding it. In hip-hop, where personal history and professional alliances often overlap, the lines being drawn are proving as consequential as the allegations themselves.
