Kanye West sat down for a rare interview on Jimmy Kimmel Live to discuss his stance on Donald Trump, his new album and more.

The rapper continued to try and spread his message of "love" around as he defended his words once again.

"When I see people just even like go at the president, it's like, why not try love," he said. "One by one by one, we can diffuse this nuclear bomb of hate of society by thinking of everyone as our family and how we treat our kids,"

Jimmy Kimmel followed that up but leaving West without words after rebutting his stance.

"I think that [diffusing "fear" with "love"] is a beautiful idea," he said. "Just in literal terms, there are families being torn apart at the border of this country. There are literally families being torn apart as a result of what this president is doing. And I think that we cannot forget that. Whether we like his personality or not, his actions are really what matter. I mean, you so famously and so powerfully said, 'George Bush doesn't care about black people.' It makes me wonder what makes you think that Donald Trump does [care about black people] or any people."

Kimmel went to commercial soon afterwards.

This comes months after Kanye West publicly shared his stance for Trump even wearing a MAGA hat sent to him by the President himself.
