In 2017, Lil Peep tragically lost his life and shortly after iLoveMakonnen announced that the two had been working on a joint song that should be coming out later on this year. A single released on behalf of behalf of the late rapper called “I’ve Been Waiting”, featured iLoveMakonnen and Fall Out Boy.
Mak has worked with Lil Peep on other songs and projects such as “Falling Down” and “Sunlight on Your Skin”. According to UPRoxx, iLoveMakonnen confirmed that this project with Lil Peep should come out something this year but there isn’t a set date as of yet. The project is slated to have 10-tracks.
