Nick Cannon opens up about struggles in his marriage to Mariah Carey.
While on “The GAUDS Show” podcast, Cannon expresses, “I got married in my 20s still to the biggest star in the world. My trajectory was [lower], than hers, she’s already in a different stratosphere,” he said.
He continued, “I would lay up at night thinking like, ‘Is this who I am? Am I Mariah’s man? Is that what my life is supposed to be?’” Cannon also revealed that he began to question his “manhood” after they had their twins in 2011.
“I’m carrying a purse, the diaper bag… she rocking being the Alpha that she is. I believe she needs a dude like that, I’m just not that dude,” he added.
Mariah Carey and Nick Cannon were married for 8 years before they got divorced. They got married in 2008.
