Nicki Minaj’s younger sister, Ming Li, is firing back at attacks from the Barbz after she attended a Cardi B show in Houston. On Wednesday (Mar.3), the Baddies Gone Wild star hopped on her Instagram Story, appearing to shake off the criticism, writing, “Yeah, I went to the concert, and I had a great f*cking time…600 pound lady can be mad all she want. Respectfully, irdgaf.” Ming believes she shouldn’t have to “pick a side,” arguing that she can love and appreciate both her sister’s music and Cardi’s. “Who said you can’t love both?” she wrote.
Ming Li also accused Nicki’s fans of trying to stir up drama. “Pick a side? No side who said u can’t love both? Yall just want a drama that ain’t nobody but the “fans” gonna say Like let’s be fr we grown and when. yall get old and wrinkly what we post ain’t gonna matter so respectlly idgaf” she wrote in another Story post. According to Ming, whatever tension there is between Nicki and Cardi is “not finna matter in the future.” Minaj’s sister wasn’t the only surprising attendee; Cardi’s ex-boyfriend, Stefon Diggs’ mother, also dropped by to show the Bronx native some love. The rapper also bought out the Houston hottie herself, Megan Thee Stallion, on stage to perform their hit track, “WAP.”
Nicki Minaj Dumped By Another Lawyer Over ‘Communication Breakdown’
In other news, Nicki Minaj was just dumped by another lawyer over a “communication breakdown,” according to legal documents obtained by TMZ. The outlet reports the rapper’s attorney, Matthew Abbott, recently filed a motion to withdraw his representation. The news couldn’t have come at a worse time, especially as the rapper faces a $10,000,000 lawsuit brought on by a former fan, Tameer Peak.
Abbott —who is part of the legal team for a new management company Minaj hired—claims he hasn’t heard from the rapper in months. The documents reveal he and the management company have tried to reach out to the “Starships” rapper and her accountants “several times” via text and email, but to no avail. Last year, Abbott filed a motion for the court to grant Nicki an extension to find her a permanent attorney after her former lawyer, Judd Burstein, abruptly quit. The outlet noted that the judge has not yet ruled on the motion; however, a deadline for Nicki to respond to the request has been set.
