The spokesperson further noted that the 34-year-old artist is currently in stable condition and is being closely monitored by medical professionals. Details regarding the motive or the specific circumstances of the gunfire remain sparse. Preliminary reports suggest the shooting may have occurred during an altercation in the area surrounding the casino. Witnesses reported a chaotic scene, though local law enforcement has not yet released information regarding potential suspects or whether any arrests have been made in connection with the attack.
Social media has been flooded with support for the “Father of 4” rapper as news of the incident spread. Quavo, Offset’s longtime collaborator and fellow Migos member, reportedly offered prayers for his former groupmate. Some unconfirmed social media reports suggested that rapper Lil Tjay may have also been present during the incident, though officials have not verified if multiple victims were involved in the Hollywood shooting.
Offset had recently been active in promoting solo projects and was reportedly in Florida for a mix of business and leisure. Law enforcement officials in Hollywood are expected to provide a formal update later today.
Investigators are likely reviewing surveillance footage from the Seminole Hard Rock Hotel and Casino and surrounding businesses to identify the shooter. For now, the rapper remains under medical supervision as his team requests privacy during his recovery process.
