Offset made it clear that there is one thing he doesn’t play about: his family. After a would-be impersonator and content creator offered his imitation of TakeOff, the father of five hopped on Instagram to share his thoughts.

In March, the impersonator, who goes by “TakeDown” on social media, posted a reel to his Instagram page. In it, he’s seen donning sunglasses while pretending to be the late star as he walks around a local mall. “I’m a celebrity lookalike — of course when I’m out in public, people think they’ve seen the ghost of TakeOff,” he said in the clip.

However, Offset seemed late to the party and didn’t respond to the post until Monday (April 8). “No, you don’t twin sh*t not funny!!!!!!!” he said in the post’s comment section.

The impersonator seemed unfazed by the rapper’s comments, replying, “No disrespect but I think I do and so do others but why we can’t turn something negative into something positive? Long live takeoff.”

In November 2022, TakeOff (real name Kirshnik Khari Ball) was shot and killed outside of a Houston bowling alley.
