PARTYNEXTDOOR is set to bring his upcoming tour to his hometown of Toronto, promising an electrifying show alongside surprise guests. In an Instagram announcement on Wednesday, the R&B artist teased fans with a captivating digital trailer featuring imagery evocative of his OVO Sound affiliation, including an owl and a pirate ship. The video culminates with a neon sign proclaiming “PARTYNEXTDOOR & FRIENDS,” signaling an unforgettable event at Toronto’s Budweiser Stage on August 2. While pre-sale tickets are already available, the lineup of special guests remains undisclosed for now.
The Toronto concert aligns with PARTYNEXTDOOR’s broader Sorry I’m Outside Tour, unveiled at the end of April. Spanning 32 dates across the summer, the tour kicks off on June 19 in Phoenix, AZ, and concludes on August 18 in Detroit, MI. Along the way, the artist will grace stages in major cities such as Los Angeles, Vancouver, Houston, Atlanta, Miami, New York, Philadelphia, and Chicago. Throughout the tour’s announcement, PARTYNEXTDOOR hinted at something “special” in store for his Toronto supporters.
The tour announcement follows the release of PARTYNEXTDOOR4 (P4), his fourth studio album, which marked his return after a four-year hiatus. Devoid of featured artists, the album showcases PARTYNEXTDOOR’s solo prowess across 14 tracks, including standout singles like “Resentment” and “Real Woman.” P4 debuted impressively at No. 4 on the Billboard 200 chart, driven by 37,000 equivalent sales units in its debut week. With anticipation building for both his tour and album, PARTYNEXTDOOR continues to captivate audiences with his distinct blend of R&B and hip-hop.
