Pooh Shiesty, a rising Memphis rapper, has created a buzz among his fans with a recent social media update. Before his incarceration, Lontrell Williams, Jr., better known as Pooh Shiesty, was making waves in the music scene. He often collaborated with Gucci Mane and signed with Gucci’s 1017 Records in 2020. In January 2022, Shiesty was convicted of federal conspiracy following two shootings in Southern Florida the previous year. In April 2022, he was sentenced to five years and two months in prison by Florida judge Michael K. Moore.

Recently, rumors circulated about Shiesty’s early release after a cryptic Instagram story appeared on his official page on July 30th. The post stated, “It ain’t sh*t to do a hit Im back B*tch!!” without any further explanation. This led some fans to believe he had been released from prison ahead of schedule. However, this speculation was quickly dispelled by another post that read, “B*tch ain’t out yet,” clarifying that he was still incarcerated. The ambiguous term “hit” left fans guessing whether Shiesty was hinting at new music or something else.

Originally, Shiesty faced a potential sentence of up to eight years, but he received a shorter term due to credit for time served before his sentencing. Now, nearly two and a half years into his sentence, Shiesty wouldn’t be eligible for release until July 2027 if he serves the full term. However, during a November 2023 interview on the Million Dollaz Worth of Game podcast, it was suggested that he might be released sooner. Shiesty expressed optimism, mentioning that good behavior could see him released as early as Fall 2025.

In the interview, Shiesty also mentioned that he has written six albums worth of material while in prison. His recent social media posts have fans excited about the possibility of new music being released soon.
