50 Cent is making his mark in the film industry!

Reported on Yahoo, Starz gave the green light for another drama series. Black Mafia Family will be a new show on the network and 50 Cent alongside Randy Huggings are behind it. They are the same masterminds behind Power, so it’s safe to say if you enjoyed Power, you’d like Black Mafia Family.

BMF is inspired by true events. It tells the story of two brothers, “Big Meech” and “Southwest T” who came from the troubling streets of southwest Detroit in the late 1980s. The Black Mafia Family is considered to be one of the most influential crime families who chased the American Dream however, things happened along the way that disrupted their brotherhood.

The film is produced by G Unit Film and Television in association with Stars and Lion Gate. Terri Koop and Anthony Wilson will executive produce. 50 Cent also has his hands involved in the five Power spin-offs, The Oath, ABC For Life, and more.
