Tensions boiled over outside a Queens courthouse as Remy Ma found herself face-to-face with the daughter of the man her son, Jayson Scott, is accused of murdering. The intense confrontation unfolded on Tuesday, June 24th, as Scott continues to stand trial for a 2021 shooting that left 47-year-old Darius Guillebeaux dead.

Scott, 23, was recently arraigned on a seven-count indictment that includes charges of first- and second-degree murder, reckless endangerment, and multiple counts of criminal possession of a weapon. The situation became even more heated when a woman identified as Jazmin Dior, the victim’s daughter, confronted Remy Ma outside the courthouse.

In a video that quickly made rounds online, Dior is seen accusing the rapper of “acting tough” and challenging her to fight away from the cameras. Remy Ma remained unfazed and replied, “Come on, beat me up,” before the clip cut off.

Later footage showed the Bronx rapper in handcuffs surrounded by officers after the confrontation, though it remains unclear whether she was arrested or simply detained.

Following the encounter, Dior addressed the incident online, expressing deep frustration. “You would have thought I did something to you,” she said, emphasizing the pain of losing her father. “Realistically, I can never speak to my father again. You can see your son.” She also claimed that Remy appeared dismissive and lacked compassion during court proceedings.

Authorities allege that Scott and a co-defendant, Richard Swygert, were hired to carry out the murder, citing surveillance and phone evidence linking them to the crime. Swygert is already incarcerated for a separate 2021 killing.

If found guilty, Scott faces life in prison without parole. Despite the gravity of the case, Remy Ma has remained by her son’s side through the proceedings.
