Rihanna spills the tea on who she wants to play her in a movie!
At the glitzy launch of her new Fenty Hair brand in Los Angeles this week, the “Love on the Brain” superstar was asked a burning question: who should play her in a biopic? Without missing a beat, she confidently replied, “Taylor [Russell].”
“Because she’s got a nice forehead and she’s fly and I feel like I want to be her, so I want her to pretend to be me.”
At 29 years old, Russell snagged her big break in the hit Netflix series “Lost in Space” (2018). Since then, she’s been making waves in Hollywood, both as a style star and starring in movies like Waves, Escape Room, and Bones and All, where she even shared the screen with heartthrob Timothée Chalamet.
Last week, RiRi announced that she had set out to revolutionize the beauty industry with the launch of Fenty Hair.
Taking to Instagram on Tuesday (June 4), the Barbadian beauty announced that “a new family is moving in;” teasing the launch of her brand-new venture, which is slated to arrive in just a few weeks.
“@fentyhair is pullin up and it’s time to finally have the hair experience you’ve been waiting for,” she added, alongside a video clip featuring herself in a blonde pixie cut wig and classic cut trench coat, as she strolls through her “new” neighborhood complete with a diverse community of perfectly coiffed neighbors.
“You know how much switching my hair up matters to me. I’ve had almost every texture, color, length, from weaves to braids to natural,” she added, explaining the inspiration behind the line.
“So I am launching a flexible line of products for not only every hair want, but every single product is designed to strengthen and repair all types of hair, which is what we truly need! It’s time to play and get stronger by the style 💁🏿♀️”
