RIP. Another young artist has been tragically lost due to gun violence.

36-year-old Snootie Wild was killed on Sunday after he being shot in the neck. According to ABC13, he was found by authorities fighting for his life in a ditch alongside an SUV in Houston, Texas after allegedly being backed in there according to Officer R. Willkens who was on the scene. “Then the other vehicle pulled up, and folks got out of the car,” he said. He was then rushed to a hospital in critical condition.

The Memphis was signed to Yo Gotti’s Collective Music Group label.

Shortly after the announcement, a post was sent on his Instagram account with the caption, “Gone in body, but your NAME & LEGACY will live forever!”

No suspects have been named in this case so far.

This follows the tragic killing of another Memphis native, Young Dolph who was killed in November in his hometown.

Our prayers go out to his friends and family.
