It is being reported that the NBA will not test their players for marijuana for the 2020-21 season.

According to NBA reporter, Ben Dowsett, this is part of the revision to the league’s policy that started when the season restarted in Orlando.

He tweeted, “Important clarification here, per source: The NBA’s random marijuana testing program will not run for 20-21, as reported below.” See the entire tweet below.

It is believed that the NBA wants to avoid unnecessary contact with the players. Before the players were slated to play in the bubble, it was announced that the league was suspending the testing of recreational drugs.
