Born Stevland Hardaway Morris in 1950, Wonder signed to Motown’s Tamla label at age 11. His breakout single “Fingertips” made him the youngest solo artist to top the Billboard Hot 100. His creative peak came in the 1970s, with landmark albums like Talking Book, Innervisions, and Songs in the Key of Life.
