As the world celebrates mothers everywhere today (May 12), one rapper, in particular, decided to do something special for a couple of moms from his hometown. A clip has circulated of Tee Grizzley stopping by COTS Peggy’s Place in Detroit to help three mothers find housing. COTS is a non-profit organization that helps women and children who are experiencing homelessness.

“You don’t realize, this is major,” a staff member told cameras capturing the beautiful moment. “People do things…and give out turkeys and stuff like that, but what you’re doing right now, is allowing people to get into houses.” He added,” Families need to transition out and [get] a fresh start…This ain’t no minute thing. We appreciate you.” Check out the clip of the touching moment below.

New Music From Tee Grizzley

In other news, when Tee Grizzley isn’t helping out his community, he’s cranking out tunes in the studio. On Friday (May 10), the rapper dropped off his latest single, “Swear To God,” featuring Future. Tee Grizzley also dropped the accompanying video on the same day via YouTube. So far, it has almost 700,000 views after only being posted two days ago. It’s also trending in the top 25 on YouTube at the moment.

“F*ck your album, sh*t ain’t slappin’ like my mixtape (F*ck your album),” the pair raps on the track’s chorus. “I’m gettin’ Saudi Arabia money, servin’ oil-based (What’s happenin’?)/Rob a rapper and say my name, get his chain back (Pluto)/My b*tch cheat on me, I find out, get her chain snatched (Woo).” Some have speculated that the first line was a diss aimed at Chief Keef and Gunna, who dropped their albums —Almighty So 2 and ONE OF WUN — on May 10, the same date that the Atlanta rapper was allegedly dropping his mixtape. However, the tape has yet to be released.
