Hip-hop veteran and Naughty by Nature member Treach publicly defended his daughter, boxer Egypt Criss, after a brutal scene unfolded inside the ring over the weekend.

The rapper took to Instagram on March 8 with a heated message following a boxing match involving his daughter, Egypt Criss, who was knocked out during a bout against Olympic boxer Jade Jones at the Misfits Duel 2. Social media called the bout a mismatch due to experience.

Egypt, the daughter of Pepa, stepped into the ring against the decorated fighter during the influencer-style boxing card. The matchup quickly sparked conversation online after footage circulated showing Jones landing a decisive knockout.

Shortly after the fight, Treach posted a lengthy message addressing the situation while directing his frustration toward people he believes encouraged Egypt to compete.

“To My Darling Daughter Egypt Pt.1,” he began, before shifting toward criticism of those around her. “When you Marry a Clout Chasing Clown like this that Brainwashes you to take care of him & to have him to train you & Set you Up what did you expect I LOVE YOU.”

While the message opened with affection, the Naughty by Nature frontman made clear he believes the circumstances surrounding the fight placed Egypt in danger. Treach suggested individuals within her circle pushed her into the ring against a highly experienced opponent without proper protection.

“As far as him & The Team around you Yall Put my Daughter in Harms way,” he continued in the post.

The New Jersey rapper saved his sharpest words for those he believes were responsible for the matchup. His message ended with a warning about consequences.

“THAT BITCH CARMA COMES BACK QUICK, You Reap What You Sew!!” Treach wrote.

The emotional post reflected a father’s anger after watching his daughter suffer a violent loss in the ring. While Egypt has yet to publicly respond, the fight—and Treach’s reaction—has fueled a fresh wave of debate online about influencer boxing matchups involving fighters with vastly different levels of experience.
