WASHINGTON, DC – DECEMBER 02: U.S. President Donald Trump looks on during a meeting of his Cabinet in the Cabinet Room of the White House on December 02, 2025 in Washington, DC. A bipartisan Congressional investigation has begun regarding Secretary of War Pete Hegseth’s role in ordering U.S. military strikes on small boats in the waters off Venezuela that have killed scores of people, which Hegseth said are intended “to stop lethal drugs, destroy narco-boats and kill the narco-terrorists who are poisoning the American people.” (Photo by Chip Somodevilla/Getty Images)|(Original Caption) Birmingham, Alabama: Rev. Starting in 2026, Martin Luther King Jr. Day and Juneteenth will be removed from the list of free entrance days, according to TMZ. That said, a new day will be added to the list in their place: Trump’s birthday. TMZ reports that the Trump Administration will name the free-entrance designations to “patriotic fee-free days.” The bold move is part of Donald Trump’s plan of “Making America Beautiful Again.” The executive order, which was debuted back in July, aims to “make parks more affordable for American citizens and to fund improvement by charging foreign visitors higher national park fees.”

The outlet reports that the change has already been listed on the National Park Service website. Along with Trump’s birthday, which is on June 14, free admission for US residents will be available on Presidents’ Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day weekend (July 3 – 5), the 110th Birthday of the National Park Service on August 25, Constitution Day, Theodore Roosevelt’s birthday, and Veterans Day, TMZ says.
