Tyler, the Creator, has finally decided to address the painfully cringeworthy moment he shared with comedian Jerrod Carmichael. During his set at Coachella, the “Earthquake” rapper explained his side of the situation.

According to Tyler, despite his rebuffing Carmichael in the past, he was persuaded to come on Carmichael’s new HBO series, Jerrod Carmichael Reality Show. “You probably seen my homie try to f*ck me on camera,” he said to the crowd. “It was terrible. I told the n*gga no, [and] he said, ‘why don’t we film it?’”

During the premiere episode of Carmichael’s show—which follows the comedian through life, coming out and more—he invited Tyler to discuss his feelings for the rapper. However, Tyler made it clear he was not interested. The Odd Future founder even went as far as to make jokes at his expense.
