Tyrese Gibson has delivered a fiery message to the mothers of his children and anyone else targeting his finances following his recent arrest over unpaid child support.
The actor and R&B star, known for his high-profile career and personal battles, was taken into custody after allegedly failing to pay $73,000 in back child support. He narrowly avoided jail time by making the required payment to his ex-wife.
The arrest, which occurred in September, reignited tensions between Tyrese and his ex-wife, Samantha Lee. He accused the presiding judge, Kevin M. Farmer, of colluding with Lee’s legal team to undermine his prenuptial agreement. In a strongly worded statement, Tyrese expressed his frustrations with the legal process and what he described as unfair treatment.
“They’ve illegally broken my prenuptial agreement,” he asserted. “Before even stepping into court for the divorce trial, I voluntarily started paying my ex $3,600 a month for our one-year-old. That was my own decision. But after two years of consistent payments, Judge Farmer decided to rewrite history. He retroactively increased the monthly support to $10,690 and applied it to the previous two years. That’s retroactive child support—a decision made simply because he felt like it.”
The situation has drawn significant public attention as Tyrese continues to vocalize his grievances about the justice system and its handling of his case. He has framed the issue as more than just a financial dispute, portraying it as a fight against systemic overreach and judicial bias.
