Kendrick Lamar might have perturbed some fans after canceling his 2024 Tecate Pa’l Norte Festival set. The former TDE rapper was to hit the Tecate Light stage at the Parque Fundidora in Monterrey, Nuevo León, in Mexico on Friday (March 29).

However, mere hours before the event, its organizers hopped on Instagram to announce that Lamar would not perform. According to their post, “unforeseen circumstances” and “logistical issues” prevented the California-bred rapper from performing.

“For unforeseen circumstances due to logistical issues out of Tecate Pal Norte’s organization — we’re sorry to announce that Kendrick Lamar won’t be able to perform tonight at the festival,” the post read.
