Victoria Monét & Jaylen Brown spice things up on the dance floor for their latest link-up.
Jaylen Brown has been known for a number of his off-the-court quests. Since becoming a frequent streamer, the Boston Celtics all-star has showcased more of what he does when he’s not dropping close to 30 points per game. Most recently, Brown was joined by Grammy-winning singer-songwriter, Victoria Monét, for salsa dancing lessons.
In the video, Brown approaches the “On my Mama” singer as she takes his hand to start the routine. The two glide effortlessly on the dance floor in the one minute video. Monet was even surprised by Brown’s effortless steps by the end of the routine.
“Oh!” Monét reacted once Brown hit a spin during the routine. “Come on!” he said in celebration after the music stopped. “I’m done.”
The world was well aware that Brown’s got game, but now they know “he got moves.”
Monét took to her Instagram stories after sharing the video.
“That was so fun,” she started. @fchwpo thank you for having me. @raulsohostudious you are such an excellent teacher tysmmm.”
Fans took to the post’s comment section to react to the surprise link up.
“Not who I expected but I love all of this lol,” said one fan said. “Dancing with the stars would definitely be a good look for Jaylen. Victoria is stunning,” another said. Others complimented that the two looked “cute together.”
Brown later tied his career high with 50 points in a Boston Celtics win over the Los Angeles Clippers, 146-115. He hinted at crediting the “salsa lesson” for his great performance.
