Yella Beezy is out on bail after a Texas judge reduced his bond in the ongoing murder case against him. The rapper was released Friday morning after posting a $750,000 bond, down from the original $2 million set when he was arrested last week.

Authorities allege that Yella Beezy was involved in the 2020 murder of Melvin Noble. Noble was better known as Mo3. Prosecutors claim he hired Kewon White to carry out the killing, though Yella Beezy has pleaded not guilty. Mo3 was shot and killed in broad daylight on a Dallas highway. Dramatic footage shows him being chased down on foot. He was then fatally shot. White is already facing charges for allegedly firing the deadly shot.

Since his arrest, surveillance footage of Yella Beezy being led into a police station in handcuffs has circulated online. In the video, he appears calm and emotionless as officers escort him inside.

His attorney, Toby Shook, told TMZ that the rapper “feels relieved to be released” but did not comment further on his next steps.
