YFN Lucci has pleaded guilty to violating Street Gang Terriorism and Prevention Act.
According to reports, the rapper was initially was facing numerous felony counts, including felony murder, which carried a maximum penalty of life without parole.
Apart of the plea deal the rapper took, he will get credit for time served, starting from when he surrendered to charges on Jan. 13, 2021. He has already served three years, so he will be eligible for parole in three and a half months.
His attorney, Drew Findling, issued a statement to TMZ stating, “as he has maintained for three years now, Mr. Bennett will NOT cooperate in any other case. By entering into this resolution, he will be eligible for parole in as early as four months from now,” Findling told TMZ. “The prosecution has also agreed that he should be released early on parole and this will allow him to get back to his children, family and career.”
If he is granted parole, he will then be released and serve the rest of his sentence on probation.
