Wale has a lot to celebrate right now. He is enjoying fatherhood for the first time and a brand new album with Shine.
He stepped up to Hot 97 to have a conversation with Ebro in the Morning, and was very honest about his new experience, the drama in MMG, J. Cole’s comments towards him and more.
The D.C. rapper addressed J. Cole’s lyrics in “False Prophets” where he subliminally took a few shots at him. He says that their relationship is closer than ever and that there isn’t any bad blood against him.
As for fatherhood, Wale claims that the reason he was tight-lipped about it is because he and his girlfriend had experienced a miscarriage before. After seeing his daughter for the first time, he said that he cried and in excitement did four songs.
Although he just finished a brand new album, his much anticipated Go-Go project is still in the works with Pharrell.
