Beyoncé and Jay Z made a huge announcement last week that they will be expecting twins in the near future, just five years after giving birth to beautiful Blue Ivy Carter. As calculated as Bey and Jay are, many thought it was their plan to wait until Blue was this age to welcome siblings into the fold, but according to US Magazine, this has been a few years in the making!
A source close to the couple told the mag that they “had been trying and trying to conceive,” and Bey was “frustrated” after unsuccessful in vitro fertilization treatments. “They were looking into surrogates and adoption.”
Finally, they said, it stuck and they are “over the moon.” And how does Blue feel about it?
“She was asking about another baby forever. Now she gets two!”
