Earlier this afternoon, a car rammed through a crowd in Times Square in New York City killing one and about 20 other bystanders injured.
According to reports, the drivers seemed to be either drunk or in the impairment of drugs. The driver is now in custody.
The driver is being identified as Richard Rojas from the Bronx. NYPD Commissioner James O’ Neill says he had two DWI arrests in the past.
NYPD makes it clear that it is not an act of terrorism.
