Today marks 20 years since the Notorious B.I.G life was taken in Los Angeles. In his honor, In his honor, the Brooklyn grocery store that the legendary rapper worked at before he gained his fame has printed up 100 special edition paper bags with Biggie’s face on them.
Though the original store that Biggie worked at on 991 Fulton Street, Met Food, has since been replaced by Key Food, the memory remains the same. Local artists Jed and Jennifer Heuer created the bags, and the first 100 customers will receive one with a purchase of groceries.
“This project is about paying respect to a legendary artist and sharing a piece of neighborhood history,” Jed told HipHopDX.
So dope! R.I.P Biggie!
