In this administration, you should never be surprised in what will happen next.
This morning (Apr 13), CNN political commentator, and all out Republican stan Jeffrey Lord somehow shocked the internet with an awkward comparison.
During a segment on “New Day” in the morning, he said that Donald Trump is the “Martin Luther King of health care.”
Another commentator Symone Sanders snapped back immediately.
“Jeffrey, you do understand that Dr. King was marching for civil rights because people that looked like me were being beaten,” she said. “Dogs were being sicked on them. Basic human rights were being withheld from these people merely because the color of their skin.”
Lord later tried to clean it up.
