Over the weekend, Jay Z was seen in Jamaica, but everyone wondered was he doing there?
He was seen with reggae artist Tarrus Riley, Damian Marley, and Sister Nancy, taking photos with each person.
In an interview with Billboard he confirmed that Hova is indeed working on new material. He also continued to emphasize that the music they were working on was indeed for Jay Z’s upcoming project.
“We did some work in the studio recently and he wanted to come to Jamaica to get a tour of the place,” he said. “Well, I did some work with him for some stuff that he’s working on. I’m not really sure of the details of his project in that sense, but we worked on some music together. I’ve been a fan of his music since he came out. We’ve never done any musical work together. So that was a joy to finally work together musically.”
This should be fun. That gives us a hint of the direction of Hova’s album which was reported on many times in the past yet, but has not been confirmed as of yet.
