JAY-Z continues getting a lot of love following the release of his latest album 4:44.
Some of his lyrics have cause other artists to react on social media, while others are taking his words into consideration.
One of his peers has decided to give his two cents on the new album and even gave a hot take about it as a guest on OVO Radio on Beats 1.
“This JAY-Z album is JAY-Z’s best album,” he said. “As an artist, you have a responsibility to grow. JAY-Z has inspired me, I inspire people, we all inspire each other. This album is not just an album. 4:44 is necessary. It’s not just an album. It’s a change of thinking. It’s a change in the way we think. We gotta support our own brand. We gotta support each other.” He later continued to warn that you should be able to do it. “This n**** JAY-Z is great and that 4:44 album is great. If you don’t listen to it, you’re doing yourself a disservice. Take that, take that, take that. JAY-Z’s 4:44 album [is] to me, his best album and the album of the year.”
It’s dope to see peers support each other, especially two who grew up in hip hop and on the way to becoming billionaires.
