Uber is taking things to new levels as they just hired NASA to help them develop flying cars. Engineer Mark Moore is the brains behind the operation.
Moore says,
“I can’t think of another company in a stronger position to be the leader for this new ecosystem and make the urban electric VTOL market real,”
For many who may not know, VTOL is shorthand for “vertical takeoff and landing.” Moore is looking to give a Fast-Forwarding to a Future of On-Demand Urban Air Transportation. He wants these “air taxis” to go at the speed of between 50 and 100 miles.
