Looks like JAY-Z ruffled a few feathers with some of his recent lyrics.
The rapper released his album 4:44 two weeks ago, and artists are still reacting to some of the things said. In “The Story of O.J.” Jigga said the following lyrics.
“Y’all on the ’Gram holdin’ money to your ear/There’s a disconnect, we don’t call that money over here, yeah.”
Drake is the most recent artist to react to the lyrics by putting some money on his ear and saying the following comments. “What they say, don’t put money to your ear? Oh I didn’t hear that”
Oh?
The two are said to have not quite seeing eye to eye with each other the past few years.
