It looks like we might be hearding some brand new Eminem sooner than we believe.
We haven’t heard much from Marshall Mathers after releasing The Marshall Mathers LP 2 back in 2013. But that could be changing very soon.
The bearded version of Slim Shady might be on the verge of finishing up his ninth studio album according to recent reports.
Just before the premiere of Dr. Dre and Jimmy Iovine’s HBO documentary The Defiant Ones, director Allen Hughes decided to spill the beans to Uproxx on the album no one even knew was happening.
“Dre still records,” Hughes said. “People don’t know this: Dre records every day. Literally, he’s in there recording songs every day. He’s like Picasso in that way. He’s always painting. Right now he’s producing, in the 11th hour, a track for Eminem’s latest album. So Dre’s still real active in music, you know? But I hear what you’re saying. It’s the truth.”
Wait. What? What will it sound like? Will it have a theme? Will the beard continue?
