It is the viral video that touch hearts everywhere.
A New Jersey man who helped bring peace between two teenagers who were fighting in the middle of the street while his “friends” was cheering them on was awarded for his bravery to stand in between the two boys.
The man who goes by the name of Ibn Ali Miller was honored by the Atlantic City council alongside the boys he helped come to an agreement.
“I’m crying because, this whole situation, it deeply saddens me,” he said. “It deeply saddens me, the fact that it’s unbelievable. This should be very believable, this should be a norm and this should be regular.”
As he accepted his award he broke down in tears and praised his mother who he said helped him become the man he is for making him read books or write when he was punished.
