Is Kendrick Lamar the GREATEST rapper of all time?
It’s the debate today after Kendrick Lamar released his latest album DAMN. Rosenberg attempted to prove that point after listening to the project and seeing his growth as an artist.
“What’s the flaw,” he asks. He’s talking about the “skill of rhyming in the context of making great music.”
His wordplay is flawless at this point in his career.
For example, “how can I paint this picture, when the color blind is hangin’ with you,” from “Bitch Don’t Kill My Vibe.”
The beauty in the art is the way each album carries a different theme.
From Section 80 to Good Kid, M.A.A.D City to To Pimp A Butterfly and then DAMN, each project creativly brings a different feel to the project including experimentation with different flows, completely different messages, and unique word play.
Do you agree with Rosenberg’s thoughts?
