Jay says he believes his story will save many lives because innocent black men are thrown behind bars everyday. Jay actually knew of Kalief, heard his story and reached out to him. He met with him and tried to give him words of encouragement. Jay says he believes Rikers should be closed for what they did to Kalief Browder.
