Mariah Carey’s New Year’s Eve performance was the fail heard ’round the world this weekend. Videos from the flubbed show were all over Instagram, and the comments were unsurprisingly not in Mariah’s favor. This, apparently, made Jennifer Lopez quite happy.
Mimi and J. Lo haven’t seen eye to eye over the years, with Mimi more than once shading Jennifer by saying “I don’t know her” when asked about her in interviews. Jen has been equally shady in response, ignoring Mariah’s 2015 Billboard Awards performance for her phone instead, and this weekend, liking the following comment regarding Mariah’s performance on IG:
“Ever seen an accident you couldn’t take your eyes away from? That was her tonight!”
Oop! Looks like we’re not leaving the petty behind in 2016, huh?
