Drake had the internet buzzing last week after he addressed a beef he previously had with Ludacris while accepting one of his record breaking Billboard Awards.

Everyone wondered…what beef?

“Ludacris, we haven’t always seen eye to eye, but I’ve always been a big fan of yours and I got a lot of love for you,” Drake said. “I want to let you know that face to face, while I’m still here.”

Luda addressed the background of the beef during an interview with the New York Daily News.

“We had a conversation before he even did that,” he said.

It reportedly began in 2010 after an interview Drake had with AllHipHop where he called out those using what was then called the “”Supa Dupa” style.
