Times certainly has changed.

Once upon a time JAY-Z and Nas were bitter rivals in the midst of one of the biggest rap battles of all time which gave us tracks such as “The Takeover” and “Ether.”

Today, the two are cordial friends with much respect for each other and their skills on the mic. With the release of 4:44, many artists and fans gave their input on the project.

This includes Nas, who congratulated him on the project.

JAY-Z can celebrate as not even a week into the release of his new album, his 13th studio album has officially been certified platinum.
