Earlier this week, authorities in Paris brought in 17 suspects in connection with Kim Kardashian’s robbery from late last year – but that doesn’t mean anything for the jewelry they stole from her.
TMZ reports that Kim’s legal team has been briefed by Parisian cops that she’ll never see the diamonds again. They say most diamonds the size of Kim’s are immediately shipped off to Antwerp’s diamond district in Belgium and then quickly disappear.
The reality star likely isn’t sweating it, however. As previously reported, Kim submitted an insurance claim after the robbery, so everything was insured. In total, 13 items totaling $5.6 million were stolen.
