Lauryn Hill’s daughter seems to be following in her mother’s footsteps.
18-year-old Selah Marley has come out of the shadows and is working on her modeling portfolio. She was on the cover of the April edition of the U.K. Sunday Times style magazine, and we learned that she is actually writing music for her herself.
She is working on a brand new project that “basically expresses the entirety of myself. I feel like modeling can be a little surface. I think this project is really just the purest expression of myself and things I’ve internalized for a long time.”
Marley released a video on Instagram where she decided to sing some notes.
How did she do?
I rarely post this type of stuff bc I’m usually scared and highly self conscious.. I don’t really care anymore. Notice I say really bc like honestly I recorded this like a million times trying to get that perfect one & then it kept being *something* so I was just like fuck it let me put my all into one.A post shared by Selah (@selahmarley) on Apr 9, 2017 at 2:23am PDT
