Dr.David Dao, the United Airlines passenger who was physically pulled out of his seat and dragged down the aisle because United overbooks their flights will not be suing the airline and the city of Chicago just yet.

Dao’s attorney Tom Demetrio revealed during a press conference that Dao suffered a “significant concussion, a broken nose and sinus injuries.” He said he also lost 2 front teeth and will be undergoing “reconstructive surgery.”

Demetrio says while they’re holding off on filing the suit, it will be definitely happening mentioning, “it will be filed in Cook County.”

He also added that the law clearly states that if a passenger is to be removed from a flight, “under no circumstances can it be done with unreasonable force and violence.”

Dao has been released from a Chicago hospital late Wednesday night and is now in a “secure location.”

Crystal, one of Dao’s 5 children, said the whole family was “horrified and shocked and sickened” by the horrific video of her father being violently dragged off the flight.

Dao’s lawyers have already filed docs in the city of Chicago demanding that United Airlines preserve all evidence and personnel records related to the incident.
