Back in 2011, Jay Z and Kanye West released a one of a kind album that featured to of the biggest artists of the time in which they titled, Watch The Throne.
The project (like most), could have been a bit different. As they initially planned the album, Kanye had a plan for the project. Have every song title be named with the n-word included in it (see “N***as In Paris”).
It was all revealed on the “A Waste of Time” podcast where former publisher of Grantland David Cho revealed the initial plan.
“[At a studio session] Kanye said, ‘We’re going to put the n-word in every single title on this album to that everyone has to say it, they have to confront it’.”
