Every artist has a specific journey, and it’s always interesting to her what may have happened if history went another direction.

Ashanti has enjoyed a great career which started in 2002 alongside Ja Rule and the label Murder Inc. She went onto Instagram and revealed a cool little story. She almost signed with Bad Boy Records.

That was before she released the single “Foolish” and by the time they saw each other once again, well, she had blown up.

I sat in Puffs office when I was 13… which is when I met Notorious B.I.G… We almost did a deal but I ended up in a different situation… the next time I saw Puff was after “Foolish” exploded it was hilarious and he gave me the biggest hug!!! Always been love #cantstopwontstop @diddy
