HOT 97 FM, #1 for Hip-Hop is giving upcoming artists the chance to rock the mic during hip-hop’s biggest stage event. Who’s Next: Destination Summer Jam will open the doors for new lyrical talent to rise to the top and show what they can do through a fan-voted competition built into the Facebook platform. One up-and-coming artist will win the chance to perform at HOT 97’s Summer Jam Festival Village Stage at Metlife Stadium on Sunday, June 10th!
RIGHT NOW you can enter the contest, and fans can vote, by visiting HOT 97’s Facebook Messenger page and clicking the “Get Started” button. Participants can then decide whether they would like to continue as a curator who will “Rate Music” or as an artist who can “Submit Music.” Those who wish to continue as an artist can then upload their music via a YouTube or SoundCloud link. Music will then be distributed randomly, giving curators the chance to listen and rate the tracks they hear. A panel of judges – made up by HOT 97 management – will review Top Rated tracks and judge them based on lyricism, production, and flow.
Voting ends on May 18th and HOT 97’s TT Torrez will announce the finalists on May 25th during her radio show on-air and online at 9:00pm EDT.
